The six day trek is the most popular trek in the country as it passes through a gorgeous natural landscape of blue pine forests, high ridges and pristine lakes while at the same time offering the opportunity to visit some ancient lhakhangs, dzongs and villages.
The Druk Path Trek is also a fairly easy hike to undertake as the distances between rest camps is fairly short. The trail takes you through forests of fir, blue pine and dwarf rhododendrons at altitudes ranging between 2400-4200 m. On the third day hikers will arrive at Jimilangtsho Lake, whose crystal clear waters are home to gigantic trout.This trek also offers hikers stunning views of Mt. Gangkar Puensum, the highest unscaled peak in the world.

As we fly to Bhutan we can get a spectacular views of the Himalayas .At the airport, we will be greeted by a representative from A Bucket list Adventure who will take us to our hotel. Today, we will visit National museum (a best start to know about the culture, history, People and biodiversity of Bhutan), Visit Paro Dzong (fortress) built in 17th century which now house an administration and monastic body of the Paro district. In the Evening stroll around town’s main street. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
After breakfast, we hike for 4 -5 hours to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery, which is Bhutan’s most famous monastery situated at 3,180 meters. In 8th century Guru Rinpoche (spiritual master) is said to have flown on the back of a tigress to meditate in a cave where Taktsang Monastery now stands. Lunch will be served in the Cafeteria Restaurant, located about halfway up the mountain. After having explored the monastery, we hike down to the valley. In the evening, we will Visit Farm house for typical dinner and traditional Hot-stone bath.overnight at the hotel in Paro.
We will start our trek from the Farm road for about 30 minutes and then we will gradually climb up through the cultivated field and apple orchid. You can see farmers harvesting their apple during the start of autumn season. The trail will lead us through the Blue pine and fir forest further up to the large pasture just before Jili la. (3560 m).We will cross the pass and drop to the camp site (3480m) at the base of JiliDzong.
After breakfast we will visit Jilidzong, the residence of lama
Nagwangchogyel,the cousin of Divine madman, lama Drukpa kuenley. Then we will further climb through the rhododendron forest and decend. Climb again and traverse around the west side of a cone- shaped hill to a meadow from where you can see Mt. Jhomolhari (7314m) and other snow peaks, if you are lucky you can see Monal pheasants. After several minutes’ walk through the Rhododendron and cedar forest we will reach at JangchhuLakha (3750 m), where we will camp for a night.

The trail will start through the juniper forest and then through the meadow, making many ups and downs to the ridge from where we will get good views of Mt. jhomolhari and Jichudrakye(6989m). We will further climb up on the saddle of the ridge to the Point from where we descend to JimilangTsho (Sand-ox lake) 3867 m. we follow the trail that climb up to the ridge (4000m) and makes many ups and downs to a crest at 4049m overlooking JanyeTsho,a lake(camp site).
After breakfast we walk along the shore before we climb (200m) a ridge and climb down to 4110m to SimkortaTsho(lake) .we will climb to Labana La at 4200m and to the another crest , from the stretch of trail, we can get great view of Dochula and Mt. Jhomolhari .We will then pass by a prayer flags on the hill that mark a sky burial site and cross a final ridge at Phumela(4070m).The trail descend steeply towards Phajoding, a camp site.toMotithang.We will then meet the vehicle waiting for us to take the capital city,Thimphu.Later in the evening visit ThimphuDzong (fortress of glorious religion) stroll around the main street. Overnight at the Hotel in Thimphu.

Today after breakfast, we will drive to Paro Airport and our representative will bid you farewell at the Airport. If you have enough time before flight, probably you can discuss with your guide and visit some places around.
